Erez Ben-Yosef is currently a Ph.D. student at the department of anthropology, University of California, San Diego.
Erez has a background in geology (B.Sc.; M.Sc.), archaeology (B.A.) and anthropology (M.A.) and he tries to apply a multidisciplinary approach in his research of ancient human societies in the Levant.
His current research, entitled The copper industry of Edom: technological and socio-political aspects of Iron-Age copper production in Faynan, Jordan, is part of the Edom Lowland Regional Archaeology Project.
