Eric Widmer

Dr. Eric Widmer, born on September 3, 1966, is professor at the Department of Sociology, at the University of Geneva, and director of the Center for Life course and lifestyle studies (Pavie). His long-term interests include family and other interpersonal relations, life course research, social norms, and social networks. He is the author of various books and scientific papers. He emphasizes a configurational approach of families based on the Family network method (FNM).
