When Anthropology and Mathematics collide...

Dr. Douglas White's presentation, "Cultural Anthropology as Fieldwork and Comparative Science" was featured in the 2014 UCI Summer Session INSIDE UCI Series of events.

Dr. Douglas White is the perfect example of someone who looked at what he was good at, what he enjoyed, and combined those interests into a massive and rewarding mission of consolidating information - in an age when information is spewed out by the second - and thus improves the research efforts of scientists in a wide variety of fields, whether a "soft" or "hard" science. If you have not read his biography yet, we highly recommend it: Douglas White's biography.
