[edit] Bio
I'm a post-doc at the institute of theoretical physics at the University of Wuerzburg in Germany. My research is focused on the analysis of relational data (aka networks) with methods from statistical physics. I search for structural features which that cannot have resulted from random fluctuations and then try to find functional explanations for these features. Methods from statistical physics are used in the solution of combinatorial optimization problems in the analysis of data coming from Biology, sociology or economy. You can find some detailed information on this reseach on the pages on Community Detection.
[edit] Pubs
A complete list of publications can be found on my private homepage or on the homepage of my group in Wuerzburg.
