- From the website: The aim of the Open University for Complex Systems (OUCS) is to provide ultra-low-cost education in complex systems science for Europe and the rest of the world. Currently the OUCS is hosted by the Institut des Systèmes Complexes de Paris - Ile de France (ISC-PIF), a consortium of universities and research institutions working with CNRS and the administration of Région Ile-de-France. OUCS is based on the principles of complex systems science, being collaborative across disciplines, institutions, nations and cultures. Like complex systems science, its objectives are enabled by creative use of the massive advances in information and communication technologies that are revolutionizing our world.
