1) Are there any parameters for choosing a society to write the about?

"Yes -> the first society should be from the SCCS sample list of 186. The second --> can be too, or another, e.g., one from COLLAPSE by Jared Diamond"

2) How many pages should the essay be?

"Four pages at most."

3) I don't know if you're going to get this question or not, but it's worth a try. I'm sort of freaking out because I e-mailed you over five times trying to send a revised paper, yet all my emails have been sent to me. I even tried replying to an email and even used my yahoo account to send it, yet it's still the same. Can you please email me telling me whether you got any of my emails, and if not, how I can send you my paper. (December 15, 2007) Thank you. -Setareh-
