Saving kinship networks in alternate formats

[edit] Ore-graphs and Puck to GEDCOM

Hello!

I included option for saving Ore graphs as GEDCOM files (then GEDCOM can be read as pgraph or bipartite pgraph).

It works for format used by Klaus Hamberger (only arcs): 1-Wi.Hu , 2-Mo.Da, 3-Mo.So, 4-Fa.Da, 5-Fa.So.

e.g. http://kinsource.net/kinsrc/bin/download/KinSources/Udalen/Udalen.paj

And also for Pajek Ore graph:

  • 1-Fa.Ch (arcs), 2-Mo.Ch (arcs), 3-Hu-Wi (edges),
  • or
  • 1-Pa.Ch (arcs), 3-Hu-Wi (edges).

To save Ore graph as GEDCOM:

  • first load network in Pajek,
  • then File/Network/Save
  • in 'Save as Type' select 'Ore to GEDCOM'
  • and select filename.

I added an option for exportation in pajek Ore-graph format to Puck (alternative options are Tip-graph (5-arcs) and P-graph-format). See http://www.kintip.net/content/view/47/#Networktype.
